Abstract
The participant's manual "So the city doesn't burn: Planning at the city level" is a guide to climate-concious urban planning with an emphasis on mitigating the urban heat island with green infrastructure. The guide is focused on urban climate policy, adaptation to climate change in cities, application of an adaptation policy through land-use planning, the process and principles of planning freen infrastructure, tools for managing urban greenery and the software TreeCheck Pro.
