Abstract
The examination of geriatric patients differs from a regular internal examination mainly by its complexity. We not only assess the patient's current state of health, but also his physical performance and self-sufficiency, psychological functions and social situation.
All these four attributes together affect the senior's prognosis, his ability to return to life, to survive.
