Abstract

As part of the SÚRAO task "Long-term monitoring of the rock massif in the Bukov PVP by non-destructive geophysical methods", geophysical monitoring takes place on the northern wall of the BZ1-XII gallery. This research is a complement to the basic automatic measurements carried out with the SGI 1 measuring system on the southern (i.e. the far) side of the same adit.

Repeated measurements take place at a roughly one-month frequency, are not transmitted automatically, unlike measurements with SGI 1, and have a greater depth range. The aim of these works is to gain knowledge from deeper parts of the rock massif, i.e. about 10 meters or more from the excavation.

From the results of the measurements, it can be preliminarily concluded that the environment around the recess changes its geotechnical properties with time.
