Abstract
At the beginning of July 2022, a new monument named "In memory of veterans" dedicated to war veterans was ceremonially unveiled in the Czechoslovak Airmen's Park in Ostrava. The author of the realization is the sculptor Pavla Sceranková, the writer and poet Ondřej Buddeus also collaborated on the artistic solution.
The Military Historical Institute Prague participated in the memorial with outputs from recorded interviews with Czech war veterans.
