Abstract
The aim of my presentation was to present the recently completed research project Changes in prisons in the Czech lands in the years 1965-1992, within the framework of which the publication "Prison as a Mirror of Society" was published last year. The project also had its oral-historical part, while emphasis was placed on all the main groups of contemporary actors, i.e. not only political prisoners, but also criminal prisoners and members of the prison staff.
I will probably use part of the contribution to present the intention of a follow-up project, this time focused on the prison Minkovice.
