Abstrakt
Additional archaeological research of the site, which also resulted in the archaeozoological findings analyzed in this report, preceded the advance rescue archaeological research itself, which was carried out by the company Via Magna, p. r. o., in 2010 (HORŇÁK et al. 2013) and was related to the construction of the D1 highway in the Hubová - Ivachnová section. It was implemented by the Slovak National Museum-Archaeological Museum in Bratislava and the Archaeological Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences was the subcontractor for the works in the Predné hony location.
A total of 196 findings of animal remains from seven contexts identified as part of the filling of the object in sounding II were subjected to analysis. The larger part is represented by large vertebrate bones, 74 finds are fish scales (38%).
