This article aims to analyze the relationship of Czech baroque sculptor Abraham (2nd) to the city Děčín. Not only that he was born in this city, but he and his workshop was also commissioned to deliver a large group of statues to the today so-called Rose Garden in the 80's -90's of 17th century.
Because of the interpretation of the historic literary resources and recent archaeological excavations we can divide two different phases of this commission and also partly reconstruct the original iconographical concept.
