Abstract
Th e paper deals with a specifi c group of juvenile convicts and their characteristics, which currently diff er from adult convicts. Th e individual parts of the paper can be perceived as an introduction to the discussion topic; fi rst, the execution of a criminal measure of juvenile convicts, their treatment, the current number of juveniles in the execution of a criminal measure and the prisons in which juveniles are placed are defi ned.
Th e main part presents the characteristic features of juvenile convicts, in the context of possible obstacles in their successful resocialization. Th e aim of the paper is not to provide an exhaustive insight into the issue, but to stimulate discussion on the topic.
