Abstract

The use of images in teaching helps to make it more effective in many ways. Their use is possible at various levels of foreign language teaching, from vocabulary to grammar to speaking support.

The use of icons, which act as an impulse for the student to elicit a response in the form of acquiring a specific word or phrase, is particularly beneficial for beginners. Thanks to online teaching, we can now look at parts of the recorded lessons, in which we notice where images can be used everywhere and what effect their inclusion in the teaching has on both the student and the teaching lecturer.
