First Year Conclusions of Experimental Implementation of Using Mentors Method in Physics at Grammar School

Abstract

This article presents the conclusions of the first year of experimental implementation of mentoring method at the Kadaň Grammar School. This year was the first of systematically testing the work of mentors in three classes of a higher grammar school.

An experimental attempt to introduce the method brought several unexpected experiences, which were shown thanks to the practical and systematic application of the method in a real teaching process. The article briefly introduces this method, the experience gained after the first year of its trial application and an outline of the next steps in the research of this method.
