Abstract

From 18 to 22 July 2022, the H2020 Pulchra project held a meeting of teachers and students who expressed their active interest in geoinformation education. The first day (18 July) was dedicated to the collaboration of the Department of Applied Geoinformatics and Cartography with talented students from Technecium (UTesla) over their SOČ student projects.

In the following days, the participants were introduced to the KoboToolbox application and spatial data collection. They also learned how to work with QGIS application.

The second half of the course focused on remote sensing, where each participant learned how to work in the Sentinel Hub environment. An interesting ending of the course was a drone mapping demonstration by Technecium (UTesla), an organization that deals with leisure activities for youth.
