Abstract
Comprehensive analysis of the possibilities of using all available renewable energy sources and technologies available in the Czech Republic and to prepare a draft strategy (vision) for the use of RES for the period 2020 - 2030. Using a pair of models - the TIMES optimization model and the TRANSPLINEX balance model - scenarios of possible development of renewable energy sources in transport were operationalized.
On the basis of the evaluation of the model scenarios, an indicative trajectory of the share of renewable energy was developed and key, cross-cutting and supporting measures of the Strategy for the Optimal Use of Renewable Energy in Transport were proposed, which are described in their logical interconnections.
