My presentation's abstract outlined two arguments regarding Arthur C. Danto's idea of pluralism. 1) that Danto believes (or hopes) that a pluralistic state of the artworld usher in the future state of the society; and 2) that Danto's philosophy of art admits that art can change a viewer's attitude towards the content of an artwork in question and, therefore, how the viewer sees the world.
This, in consequence, contributes to the change of the whole society.
