On the Background of the Difference in Understanding the Commandment "No graven images or likenesses" in the German and Swiss Reformation (Martin Luther, Huldrych Zwingli)

Abstrakt

The lecture dealt with Martin Luther's and Huldrych Zwingli's relationship to images in a devotional context. It traced differences of their positions toward images with regard to the whole of their theology.
