We performed a retrospective study on a patient-specific geometry of an intracranial aneurysm with a known rupture site identified by a surgeon. Among commonly used hemodynamic parameters such as wall shear stress or the oscillatory shear index, we focus on a recently proposed quantity called the oscillatory velocity index.
On the boundary, we prescribed the Navier slip boundary condition, which led to interesting results regarding oscillatory indices. The next step will be to compare the computed velocities with measured velocities obtained by particle image velocimetry on a 3D printed aneurysm.
