Abstract

Digital technology is one of the most common sources of parent-child conflicts today. The phenomenon of digital devices in the hands of children is now being investigated by an increasing number of research teams.

It is an emerging area of research that continues to provide new insights into the influence of technology on children and adolescents, but also continually raises new questions. This book is a summary of the research up to date in this area, presented in a readable way, with practical tips for parents on how to strengthen children's digital resilience, how to identify signs of problematic screen use, and how to work with addictive and inappropriate content on screens.
