The authors of this book have endeavoured not only to present a theoretical and historiographical view of the issues of oral history, but also to summarize the latest trends in methodology, in procedures for conducting interviews, and in analysis and subsequent interpretation thereof. Not least, via this medium they wish to convey to readers their personal experience over the course of many years of research in the field of modern and contemporary history.
The resulting publication aims to accommodate the needs of professionals in the field as well as all college and university students of the humanities.
