It was the final conference of the "ESF for Higher Education II at the UK" project, through which the activities of the Academic Counselling Centre of Faculty of Education of the Carles University were supported.
Counselling for university students is today a common part of the activities of universities. The goal of the conference was to convey the experiences of counselling staff and to support further development in this area, with a focus on supporting all vulnerable groups of students at the university - whether they are students with specific needs (registered students with special needs or students who study so-called in secret ), students with socio-economic disadvantage, students in a difficult social situation and life crises.
Counseling services are also available to university staff - for their support of students at risk, but also for their personal and professional growth, or when solving problem situations. At the conference, 38 contributions from our and foreign participants were heard in the morning plenary session and six afternoon sections.
