Abstract
The plenary contribution at the conference focused on the presentation of the legislative definition of university counselling, the current state, the problems experienced by counselling service workers and the need for systemic changes. The development of counselling services at Charles University and the Faculty of Education was specified.
Also presented were the results of the Academic Counselling Centre of the Faculty of Education, which was supported in the Research, Development, Education Operational Program and which strives for the further development of counselling service for all categories of students at risk, as well as for university teachers.
