Concurrent with the global pandemic, Lebanon was also suff ering its worst economic crisis in history, intensifying political tensions, and long hours of daily power outages.

It will identify the perceptions of teachers about how the knowledge bases gained during teacher education studies helped in online teaching in times of crises. Finally, this paper will present suggestions of reforms that should be implemented in teacher education programs to prepare teachers for teaching online in times of crises.
