The article in the peer-reviewed journal deals with diagnostic procedures for specific learning disorders, both in relation to school counseling centers and pedagogical-psychological counseling centers. In the form of an online questionnaire survey (N=78), we mapped the involvement of counseling workers in diagnostics, the diagnostic tools used and the monitored parameters in reading, writing and mathematics.
We were also interested in the perception of positive and negative aspects of the diagnosis. The second part of the investigation investigated the impact of distance learning on the development of literacy skills as well as the course of diagnosis of specific learning disorders from the point of view of counseling workers during the period of epidemiological measures due to the spread of the disease COVID-19.
