Abstract
The current wave of COVID-19 and the new emergency measures of the Ministry of Health have once again reminded us how significantly the fight against COVID-19 still affects our lives, but also a number of fundamental rights. In addition to interference with freedom of movement in the form of travel restrictions or interference with freedom of assembly, there are also much less visible violations of the right to privacy in the form of collection of personal data.
However, the author considers these infringements to be very serious, even in the long run, and it is often a blanket collection of personal data of many people. At the same time, the collected data can be evaluated and used (and of course also misused) without time limit, even after the original reasons for the collection have passed.
