The paper is focused on the translation of the Latin lexemes "episcopus", "synagoga" (also "ecclesia") and "dominus", which in the New Testament of the 4th redaction represent examples of remarkable translation solutions. In the case of "espiscopus" in M.
Lupáč's New Testament was translator influenced by the Utraquist theological teaching. As for the translation of lexemes "synagoga" and "dominus" we find in the 4th redaction (especially in the printed Prague Bible), occasional concordance with the text of the oldest translation of the first redaction.
This contribution tries to clarify the process of reusing old translation solutions in the Prague Bible 1488.
