The turn of the fourteenth century in the Bohemian kingdom was marked by an elevated religious sensitivity across many different social layers. Soon, the radical teachings of English reformer John Wycliffe were accepted by influental Czech masters at the Prague University, esp.

Jan Hus, whose death led to the Hussite wars. The research of the intellectual exchanges, social tensions and later military conflicts of this period plays a prominent part in Czech and Central European medieval studies since the 19th century.

Jan Hus and the Hussites still resonate in the Czech historical culture. The paper focuses on the representations of religious aspects in the historical digital game Kingdom Come: Deliverance and puts them into context with other cultural and social phenomenons within the game world.

It also explores the use of historical monuments ant their configurations.
