Ascending aorta pseudoaneurysm due to a possible mechanical stress of the supraannular wire frame on the aortic wall is a rare, late complication after valve-in-valve TAVI procedure, which, to our knowledge, has not been reported yet. Our case demonstrates the importance of imaging methods, especially CT scan, in diag- nosing post-TAVI procedure complications, as the supraannular portion of the bioprosthesis might not be de- tected by transthoracic, or even transesophageal echocardiography.
