Abstract

Bullous pemphigoid represents the most common autoimmune subepidermal blistering disease of the skin. It usually develops in the elderly population.

Several factors have been implicated in the pathogenesis, such as trauma, ultraviolet therapy and drugs. rarely, case reports describe the association of vaccination with the onset of ppemphigoid. We report new onset of bullous pemphigoid and deterioration of previously diagnosed pemphigoid in two patients after the second dose of mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.
