Abstract
On the 24th March 2022 took place the I. International Conference dedicated to the trans-border effects of mining in Katowice ("Meeting at the Border - Environmental Protection - The effects of mineral extraction").
The conference was held online with professors, assistants professors and postgraduate students from Poland (5 representatives), Czech Republic (4 representatives) and Slovakia (1 representative) with expertise not only in different branches of law but also with expertise in other social sciences such as ecology, biology etc. The conference was divided into two parts.
Altogether 10 papers was delivered dealing with mining law, competition law and civil law at all levels - national, EU and international level and also with the sustainable development and the environmental effects of mining activities. Collection of papers will be delivered.
