Over the past twenty years, however, most pharmacotherapeutic groups underwent significant changes, which motivated authors to share new information, capture the trends in the development within the pharmacotherapeutic groups, and primarily to generalize them through the study of the interdependence between chemical structure and the effects of drugs. They emphasize clearly logical relations between individual drugs, or their similarity with target mediators.
To present complete information, each chapter includes a brief overview of the drugs used in practice, including their INN names, pharmacopoeial, chemical (IUPAC) and protected names of drugs registered in the Czech Republic up through May 2021. This book is intended primarily for students at pharmaceutical faculties, but it can be also useful for all experts working with modern pharmaceuticals in their work.
