Recommendations for laboratory testing of type 1 diabetes - related autoantibodies

Abstract

Recommendations stem from the results of the external quality control assessment (EQA) of laboratory testing for type 1 diabe tes (DM1) - related antibodies. The quality control was run by the SEKK Company and the Laboratory Immunology Section of the Czech Societ y for Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SLI Č SAKI) over 2002 - 2006.

The paper brings information about the current state of DM1-related antibody testing in the Czech Republic.
