Abstract
The lecture dealt with selected aspects of ordals in the Bohemian lands in the Middle Ages, not only legal aspects, but also cultural and social aspects and pragmatic significance. It concerned the terminology of the ordals, the definition of the content of divine judgments in a broader and narrower sense, vis maior in trial by ordeal.
She devoted herself to the signs and course of the process as well as the categorization of trial by ordeal and mentioned individual examples.
