Abstract
The teaching text presents basic information about zoogeography. Basic terms (biocycles, habitats, species distribution mapping, types of species distribution, speciation, island biogeography, biomes, zoogeographic regions, zoogeography of the Czech Republic) are explained and supplemented with specific examples.
