Abstract
Given the ongoing revision of the Framework Curriculum, a comparison of curriculum documents from different countries is also needed. The aim of this paper is to present how the topic of algebra is integrated into the curriculum documents for the first stage of primary school in Ghana and to partially compare the curriculum documents from Ghana with the current Framework Curriculum for Primary Education in the Czech Republic.
