In the presented paper, we deal with the issue of tandem teaching at elementary schools from the perspective of school heads. We present a brief insight into the issue from the definition of the term, through its division to the specific possibilities of including tandem teaching in education at elementary school from the management's point of view.
We present the results of a survey that examined why primary school headmasters do not include tandem teaching in education at their school? The main reasons are staffing stemming from the overall insufficient number of teachers in the labour market.
