The presented paper aims to provide an empirical assessment of crisis management and a "perspective of the political leadership in Czechia during the Covid pandemic. Before the pandemic, Czechia was already facing many problems at the level of political leadership, which was reflected, among other things, in public trust in the political leaders.
Since the pandemic's beginning, the country has been led by the government of Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO; appointed in 2017). A practical and well-managed solution to the pandemic could have been a boost for legitimizing (his) power in the country.
The crisis represents chances but simultaneously threats. The Covid pandemic represented and continues to represent a significant challenge for many governments and governmental organizations.
