This chapter focuses on the use of technology in combating the Covid-19 pandemic and its legal implications, and is essentially divided into three parts. The first part is devoted to the debate on electronic surveillance of individuals, which raises questions primarily about privacy and personal data protection.
The second part focuses on the covid passport and its implications for the issue of discrimination. The third part is devoted to the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in the fight against the epidemic, which has not been used by the Czech state, although it would have been very helpful in many situations.
