Cistercians in the Přemyslid royal court in the second half of thirteenth and at the beginning of fourteenth century

Abstract

Dignitaries of the Cistercian order, abbots of the regular houses of Sedlec, Zbraslav/Aula Regia and Waldsassen, played major roles at the court of king Wenceslas II (1283-1305), and subsequently, as advisors and diplomats of Bohemian kings.
