Abstract
On May 18-21, 2002, the 29th EAS International Conference with the theme Music & Meaning took place. University pedagogues, musicians, researchers in the field of music education, teachers and students from 27 European countries presented the results of their research, examples of good practice to each other in Belgrade, Serbia, and discussed the current challenges of music education in connection with the chosen theme of the conference.
A large space was dedicated to joint sharing and finding opportunities for further connection within the European Association for Music in Schools.
