Abstract
The present Visegrad Doctoral Proceedings is the seventh in the series. It is based on the scientific activities of students of doctoral programmes in music education and their supervisors from the Visegrad countries. The written papers and the content of the workshops develop the themes of previous Visegrad doctoral conferences and build on the programmatic objectives of the European Association for School Music Education (EAS) and the Czech
Music Council. The conferences have long sought to bring research topics closer together thematically with the current needs of pedagogical practice in the subject of music education.
