Abstract

The aim of the study is to describe a lesson focused on creative approach to narrative (realized with a group of students of primary education program) and based on content analysis of the resulting products and student's self-reflection point out the didactic potential of creative approach to narrative didactic transformation. In the first part we formulate the theoretical basis in the field of didactics of literature, the narrator and narrative transformation.

In the second part, we describe a lesson focused on the transformation of the narrator using creative writing and content analysis of the products of transformed texts. From the results of the students' answers, it is evident that they did not realize the category of narrator.

The analysis of student's products pointed to the fact that they are able to apply narrative perspectives on multiple levels in a narrative transformation, but it is necessary to work with detailed reflection and the peer response, which helps them improve the original creation. Formulation of criteria based on Table 1 would help increase the success of first versions of student's narrative transformations.

It proved to be difficult for students to use a creative approach and imagination in narrative transformation.
