Abstract

The paper introduces the concept of tandem and team teaching in higher education, its typology and characteristics. We present conclusions from research studies and the results of our own research survey from both the period of contact teaching and the period of emergency remote teaching.

We discuss the advantages and limits of team teaching and opportunities to improve teaching at the university. Teamwork is analyzed as a possible way to support professional development of both beginners and experienced academics.
