Classical Traditions in the Humanist Historiography of the Lands of the Crown of Bohemia

Abstract

The lecture characterizes the Latin Historiography of the Lands of the Crown of Bohemia, in the first place in its content relating to the Antiquity and in the context of humanist historiography of the space of Central Europe. Then, I deal with the authors of historical texts from Upper-Lusatia who adopted somehow the ancient authors.
