From home- travel photography : On the Visualisation of "Home" in the Magazines of Displaced Germans after the Second World War

Abstract

The study concentrates on the visual representations of home in the journalism of the displaced Germans from Czechoslovakia after 1945. The study analyses photographs of the journeys that displaced people have made to their homeland since the 1950s.
