Abstract
On 1 January 2019, the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic became the new publisher of Hudební věda (Musicology). The new editor-in-chief Roman Dykast introduces the research concept of the newly created Department of Musicology at the Institute of Art History.
