Abstract
The lecture presented the course "Colloquia Latina" intended especially for future teachers of Latin. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basics of "Living Latin".
It should enrich their familiarity with classical Latin with the ability to produce spoken and written Latin discourse and at the same time provide them with inspiration for their own Latin lessons, in which they use productive work procedures (asking basic questions, working with basic phraseology, using well-known sentences, their own simple written work in Latin, etc.). The main methods of the course are basic conversations, practicing selected vocabulary and phraseology, reading simple texts with Latin comments and various didactic games and activities.
