Abstract
The subject is a review of Tatiana Petrasová's catalogue for the exhibition Neoclassicism between Technique and Beauty, vitruvian-style, structured according to the three main requirements for architecture - technique, beauty and function. The review focuses on those aspects of Nobile's work that are the result of developments in the eighteenth century, whether it is the attempt to classify architecture as a technical discipline instead of a mathematical one, or the departure from the search for principles of beauty that consist in the imitation of nature.
