The second part of the textbook provides systematic preparation of students with levels B1 according to SERRJ for a specific written speech, which is an argumentative essay using authentic documents (Discussion type), which is used as a written final exam in the bilingual sections of Czech and Slovak gymnasiums. Students are gradually led to a deeper investigation of the selected topic and its problematicperception (here Nature), to the analysis of linguistic means of argumentative texts, further to the structured expression of opinion with the help of theses, arguments and illustrative examples, i.e. to the ability of cultured and substantive discussion supported knowledge and a general cultural overview.
