Abstract
The chapter describes the course and significance of the state celebrations of St. Wenceslas day during the First Czechoslovak Republic.
The chapter analyses the main ideological initiators, organisers and participants of the celebrations across the social strata of the time, as well as within the different ethnic groups of the republic.
