Development of the subjective quality of working life in the czech republic

Publication at Faculty of Arts |

Abstract

The article presents basic results of monitoring the development of subjectively perceived quality of working life in the Czech Republic. It uses data from representative workers' surveys that have been implemented since 2011 and which has been used by the SQWLi (Subjective Quality of Life Index) questionnaire.

Firstly, the results show that changes in both aspects and wider domains of working life occur over time, both in terms of importance and evaluation. They also suggest that overall there has been a reduction in the gap between the expectations of workers and their quality of life in the last four years.
