Abstract
The chapter describes the course and significance of the state celebrations of the memorial day of Jan Hus during the First Czechoslovak Republic. It analyses the main ideological initiators, organisers and participants of the celebrations across the social strata of the time and in the ethnic milieu of the Republic.
