Abstract

Two day long workshop (16 hours) was lead by Petr Frantik, German didactician from Cologne University and simultaneously interpreted into Czech language. The target group were high school philosophy teachers, didacticians and students of the teaching programmes.

The objcetive of the workshop consisted in introducing, realizing and reflecting new discussion and argumentation techniques based on the dilemma discussion method. The content of the course was focused on the problem of freedom of speech in the context of new media and the question of immortality in the context of the developing biotechnologies.
